Dilip & Vandana

Jaipur in December is a city of dust and gold light, and Vandana's family has married in the same courtyard for three generations. We arrived two days early simply to watch — the cousins arguing over garlands, the uncles rehearsing a song nobody asked for, Dilip pacing a corridor at four in the morning. By the time the ceremony began, the photographs were already happening.
